Legacies Photo Exhibit

Legacies is a photo exhibit that has been showcased in Canada, Asia, Middle East and Scandinavia. This exhibit portrays Canadian women from over twenty different countries of origin who  reflect on their heritage through the eyes of their grandmothers. 

 

They are strong, wise women, who against unimaginable odds of war, poverty and immigration became extraordinary role models for their Canadian granddaughters. The women showcased in this photo exhibit are the gatekeepers of our language and culture.
